Should I stay in this cramped house or leave?

My family lives with my mom’s boyfriend and his daughter. When we first moved in, there were 7 of us living in a 2 bedroom house. Now that my older sister and brother are gone, it is only 5, but its still REALLY cramped. I have NO space, not even a bed. I am 18 and need space. Plus, for some reason the house work is my responsibility, even tho I have 2 sisters. I am the one to get blamed for most of things not being done, my chore or not. On top of it, I feel like Keith (Mom’s bf) is more important to her than her own children. To me, your children should come first, esp. when you aren’t married, or even engaged, to the guy and you’ve been married twice before. Today I got in trouble, yet again, for the house being a “mess”, which I actually did clean excepting my room. I have a place to go if I were to leave but I don’t really have the guts to. I also don’t want it to look like I’m just being spoiled and throwing a tantrum bc I’m not getting what I want. But I don’t know if I can deal with this much longer. I’m gonna explode! I don’t know what to do..

That does sound like a ridiculously cramped living arrangement! I can’t blame you for being tempted to move out.

Are you sure you have a safe and affordable place to go?
