Who researches restaurants before they go out to eat?

Do you go to any particular sites for reviews?

I do check reviews and ask around at times, but I also take into account that everyone’s taste tends to be different in terms of what’s good and what isn’t. Sometimes I like to try it myself just to sure – as long as it’s not super expensive. I wouldn’t go out and try something that’s $30 or $40 a plate if a lot of people said that it wasn’t good.

As for how accurate they’ve been, usually they’re quite spot on. Sometimes, though, it depends which cook the restaurant has in the kitchen. So it tends to vary result wise for me.

i do sometimes if i have never been there. sometimes its a win, sometimes its a waste of money. but i will look up some restaurants b4 i go there, esp if i was maybe thinking about going there but a friend told me it was no good or something like that. and yeah, it helps. and i’ll look it up even if my friends all say they like it. people who have been there usually are more reliable than food critics ive never even heard of. so keep researching them, but ask people who have been there if you know anyone.
