Can anyone help me remember the names of two books?
These are both children’s fiction novels.
I read a book years ago about a high school athelete. He was a track and field star. He collapsed while running and was diagnosed with some sort if heart thing. He was told he would have to give up running because he heart is too weak. He defies the doctors, gets himself strong, and is eventually able to race again. Does anyone know what the hell I’m talking about?
The other book I recall was a about a girl who has some sort of medical event which leads to a coma or something. When she wakes up she dicsovers that she has gained the ability to see people’s auras. Does this sound familar to anyone?

The second one, i heard from a friend that its really good but the title escapes my mind. i think the title has the word aura in it. try searching on google im sorry maybe it will come to me later

I found one l\kinda like that, this high school senior, he was one of the best track and feild stars. then he found out he had this sickness and only had one year to left to live, but herrefuses treatment and gets himself strong and lives his last year to the fullest, Its called , Deadline but Chris Crutcher, but i don’t think its the same one,
I looked up Deadline. It is too recent, it’s from 2007. I read both those books at least ten years ago. Thanks, though.
