NEVER ALONE

I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shal guide me with thy counsel, and afterward recieve me to glory.

                                                                                         Psalm 73:23-24

I love the LORD because he hears and answers my prayers. Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath!

                                                                                        Psalm 116:1-2

God, during those times when I feel the ache of loneliness, help me to remember that you are never more than a whispered prayer away.

                                                                                        Amen.

Just know that no matter what you may be ging through that has you doubting your religion, God is there listening to you. Sometimes our faith is tested because he wants to see if we are going to lean on him or our own understanding. And other times our faith is tested to make it stronger. The whole point is to keep your eyes focused on seeking the Kingdom and the rest will fall into place. God knows what we are capable of handling more than we do. Just trust in him and know that he is there with you always. May God continue to bless you and you continue to lean on him!

i was raised pentecostal all my life, but at 30 years old. i didnt even know for sure what i believed, so i told the lord, i want to know your truth, and i made a commitment to him that i would search and see why i believe what ive been told. and it has been over a year. i have totally read and studied and searched the scriptures for my self,a nd god is great, he will reveal things to you in his word, if youwill seek him and trust him. he will never leave you or let you down. get in the word of god and search out your own salvation, he will guide you in the path everlasting.

Dear luvbunny14, Doubts are not the opposite of faith. Doubts come when our faith is challenged, but if we embrace more deeply what God is telling us–and what our church, our faith community, tells us–then our faith has a chance to grow. It may also be shaken more deeply, but even then it is an indication that something we believe is in error, and we need to explore what we truely believe, how God is with us, and so on.

God will not let the true seekers down. We continue to seek until God finds us.

I absolutely agree with ansharmon, the answers we need are in the word… and we need to seek them out for ourselves… so that we know what is going on, what is expected of us, etc. Oh and by the way, one scripture says, Everything that can be shaken, will be shaken… So, when things get rough, just remember, God is never out of control… He is coming back for a bride, without spot or wrinkle… meaning without sin… so, he keeps working with us all, to remove it…
