what reasons are there for bleeding whilst taking the pill other than ordinary breakthough bleeding?

is there anything i should be worried about?

Have you been to see your gynecologist? There are COUNTLESS other reasons, including things such as endiometriosis and tumors, but really guessing is NOT going to get you anywhere. If you are having breakthrough bleeding you need to see your nurse or doctor who gave you the pills.
