What is best to put on your new tattoo?
I just got a tattoo yesterday. He told me that i shouldnt put vaseline, becaue its a tattoo artists scam. the vaselin sucks out all the color, so you have to go back for touchups. Anyways. I forget what he told me to put on it. Is ALOE VERA ok ?

Do NOT put a&d on your tattoo! It will pull up the ink. You NEVER use it for the healing process. You want to use unsented lotion. No tattoo goo, h2o lotion, a&d, neosporin, vasaline, cocobutter, or aloe vera… all bad for your tattoo. I’ve been tattooing for 10 years. You want to use unsented lotion. I reccomend lubriderm to all my customers.

Shoot. I put sented body lotion on last night, and ive been using aloe vera. Whaats bad about aloe vera though?
You can just use regular chapstick, but not too much.
aloe vera makes it heal faster yes but it also does not moisturize your skin enough and that can cause your ink to pull up or your skin to tear from being to dry.
