if own country provides lots of job opportunities and a good salary can reduce immigration

Answer #5

I think we should be asking how to increase immigration. As baby boomers start to retire we will have a labor shortage. Jobs will be unfilled and there won’t be enough workers paying taxes into Social Security and other programs to keep them afloat.

Answer #6

LOL. it’s comedy.

Answer #7

How about:

  • Make poor countries richer by trying to boost their economies, too and thus spreading wealth fairly around the world.
  • Make unsafe countries safer by whatever method is applicable. (Hint: starting a war does not usually help at all)

People who do not feel poor nor endangered will usually stay where they are. Going to a different country is always difficult. New language, finding new friends, finding a new job, building a new home… hardly anyone does that just because they feel like it. People move because where they are, things are bad. People leave a country when they get the feeling that there are no better places within that country.
