Me and my boyfriend borke up today and I havnt stopped thinking about him. Do you like my poem?\

Rewind

Just like a flash back I can see it so clear You and me laughing With no one to hear

And just like the past I know it was there But now like the present It seems too unfair

And more than all that I sit and rewind Play back the memories That set in my mind

Hands intertwined With a grasp holding strong And faces that spoke Like an unwritten song

Fresh strokes in the paint That stained the white canvas Wash with the time And age with the artist

Steps that we’ve taken And stones that we’ve skipped Stories we’ve made With the pages now ripped

And more than all that I sit and rewind Play back the memories That set in my mind

And cradle whats left With a motherly touch Leaning on memories My only strong crutch

It’s all black and white Like a small game of chess Burning these bridges To get rid of the mess

Finding myself In the cross roads of this Living in moments Where ignorance was bliss

But more than all that I sit and rewind And play back the memories That set in my mind

honestly. Im a HUGE FAN of break-up poetry considering thats the only type of poetry I ever read and write. Genious. You did an amazing job on this poem. You should be so very very proud of yourself right now.
