Should I stop eating to be skinny?

I am a 13 year old girl who is 140lbs and im sick with myself. everyone on this website says “ dont be anorexic, its bad for you” and I think half of these girls dont feel the way I do. looking into the mirror and wanted to throw up because of the image you see is hard. being sad all the time because of the way you look is hard. I wear a sweartshirt everyday just so noone can see how I really look. all my friends and family tell me I am skinny only because they have to. I need help to be skinnier. please dont comment this if you are only going to tell me not to be anorexic and to eat healthy and jog or run or something. I dont need to hear that, I have heard it all before. and I have tried doing that. I have been a complete food freak and that is too much work. I know you are probally saying well not eating and being hungry all the time and being depressed about your weight isnt a lot of work?! yes it is but it seems like a better route for me.

Okay, I won’t tell you to go running or jogging or tell you to not to be anorexic. However, if the picture in your profile is really you, then you are either very tall for your age and don’t need to do anything or you need to buy a new scale. In other words, you look very good for weighing 140 lbs.

Don’t listen to these do gooders that offer no real advice. Yeah, sure, don’t stop eating!! That’s not rocket science, in fact, for many people, if you stop eating regulary, your body will go into shock and trigger and reserve, you body will store fat becasuse it assumes starvation is coming. DO watch what you eat, eat healthy, drink only water –no soda– and eat very small portions every 2 hours, that’s our bodies natural cycle. Also, look at the patterns and cuts of your clothing, are they complimenting your figure? 140 pounds is “full figured” if you’re under 5’7” that’s jsut what it is, be pragmatic, but if you carry yourself well, wear the right cut of clothing, have a walk, and smile brightly…you can still light up the room and turn heads!!!

No. I’ve been there. It was very unhealthy for me. I did lost the weight, but I paid the price of being sick for a long time. I didn’t have the nutrients in my body to keep me healthy because of the anorexia. If you do want to lose weight, don’t got about it that way. It’s going to take some getting used to, but when you’re hungry, eat fruit. For meals have salad with low-fat or fat-free dressing. Stop eating so much carbohydrates. Don’t eat fatty foods. And, basically, with such a high metabolism as a 13 year old girl has, you’ll shed pounds fast. But don’t just stop eating! Stop eating the wrong foods!

join your track team and only eat a full size meal at brekfast… then the rest of the day have tiny healthy snacks

get used to a regular diet. Everyday eat around the same time.
