I was told not to when I got my lip pierced. I was told it was one of the worst things to clean it with. However, I also learned that dial soap is something that is really good to use.
Ya but it’ll heal slower so a salt water solution is better.
dont use peroxide or alcohol on it. soak the outside of your lip with warm sea salt water twice a day and use an alcohol free mouthwash, such as biotene, after everytime you eat.
it’s important to keep it clean.
