Period for 2 weeks!

Ok so im on the depo birth control.. [[the one shot that goes on your hip]] Yea well last month I didnt get my period.. But this month I’ve been on my period now for 2 weeks .. Although its light when is it guna go away!!? My boyfriend doesnt believe me but yea.. My mom tolld me the depo shot might make me irregular helpp!!?

You are experiencing an hormonal imbalance which can cause longer period, light spotting and missing your period. If you continue light spotting during week three, I’d consult a doctor to get his advice on what can be done and if this is the best birth control for you.

I was on depo from 13 -15 years old irregular periods is going to happen all the time I didnt have one ever maybe twice a year when I was off it for 2 years I was still irregular I went to a fertility doctor he said it takes 5 to 6 years to get completely reggular and get out of your system im serious it was a bad mistake to get on the shot

I wouldn’t be to worried about it, sometimes i have my period for 1 and half to 2 weeks and i don’t take any kind of meds for me it’s normal. I’d wait another month or two and see if it goes longer if it does and it concerns you, then go to the doctor.
