2 week periods

well she’s 21 and we’ve been together for about 5 years and 4 months. she was on birth control when we started going out since she was under age and well I was young also but she hasn’t taken the pill in 4 years. it all started with the 2 week long period and 2 week clear then 2 week long again about a year ago or so. it gets heavy and stays heavy sometimes for 3-5 days then lets up a bit then gets heavy again like she goes through the whole week period cycle twice in a row.

I had the same problem and there are things that a gynecologist can do to stop it. Some of them will leave her unable to have children but there are other options also. She needs to go to the doctor though and talk it through with them.

If she’s on the pill then that really shouldnt happen. The contraceptive pill is supposed to make periods lighter and regular. This one oubviusly isnt right for your girlfreind. Tell her to make an appointment with her practise nurse of whatever you call them and get her to just explain her proble. Thats the only way you’ll get a proper indication of what it is
