A lot of people become almost obsessed with chimpanzees. Its almost like their baby. Which reminds me of the show fatal attractions on animal planet.
Well, I think they are cute…but I wouldn’t have one as a pet. They can get aggressive and dangerous.

Maybe because they are so much like us. However people don’t realize that by keeping a chimpanzee as a pet you are abusing them. People dress them up in clothes, which ALWAYS hinders their development and treat them like humans, whereas they are pack animals that need to be in clans of their own kind. I had the rare priviledge of being able to visit one of the Jane Goodhall foundations for abused and abandoned chimpanzees and the atrocious things that people do to them (often without even knowing) is shocking and sad. I feel that if you ever get the opportunity that you should also go and visit it to see what actually happens when you keep these gorgeous animals as pets.
