Do people get arrested for sending a photo message of weed?

I kind of doubt it. A picture of weed alone is not really incriminating evidence to get them arrested. If the picture showed the person actually smoking the weed, then yeahh they might get in trouble with the cops IF someone reports it.

As far as I know, you can only get in trouble for actually possessing Weed.

However, if they see you in a picture, that will give them a reason to get a warrant to search you for more weed.

Want my advice?

Don’t send a picture of yourself smoking weed. It’s not really a smart thing to advertise, in my opinion.

That alone is not enough evidence to arrest someone. There is no way for law enforcement to know that it is actually pot unless that have it to test it. I know of someone who got caught smoking a joint in NYC. He was given a court date, but they lost the evidence before they had a chance to to test it, so the case was dismissed. A picture of something that might be pot is not enough evidence to convict. But as Karojo said, it might be enought to get a search warrant. I even doubt they would go that far, but I guess it depends in what state and city you are. Laws vary.
