Can a palatal expander make your face look different?

Yea, I got a palatal expander as well when I was younger and my mom noticed right away that it made me face look different. Which I can kinda see cause it’s expanding, so of course we would look a bit different.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by square jaw.. sorry. But how long do u need the expander in for. I only had mine in for 6 months…

i already had it for 6 months and i still have to use it at least 1 month and i think i look uglier when i have it so i very confused…
