What else can I do to lose weight?

Okay, so I’m 16, 5’3” and over weight ( I wear a size 14). big suprise right? I eat healthy. Salads, fruit, plenty of water, excerise, the whole thing. But, I can never lose weight. I get very self conscience about myself around my guy friends, and I feel like I’m always competing with the other girls. Is there anything else I can do? Diet pills? Green Tea? Anything that can help, would be much appreciated. But not annorexia, or bulliema. Gross. I havent really talked to my parents cause they’ll tell me I’m fine the way I am, and there’s nothing wrong with me. But I dont feel fine. So, if you have any ideas, or solutions, they would be great! Thanks!

hey when I was 16 I was 5’3 and wore a size 12 jean and I am still the same… when I started college I gained the freshman 15 plus some… now I am just working it off with kick boxing and getting right… drink tons of water… if it looks like its bad for you 9 out of 10 times it is… I have never liked my legs and now have a problem with my stomach but I still know im beautiful… because I was made in the image of God despite what I may look like… I have also come to peace with the fact that I am puerto rican and have a family full of woman with thick thighs and big butts… I can work out and kind of tone myself and eat healthy to keep myself from gaining more weight but I will never look like a stick figure and im ok with that… I hope I helped…

It just seems to me that your natural genetics have predetermined you to be that shape and height. you say you do everything healthy but you cant lose weight . Well do you cheat sometimes ? that can be a determining factor in your weight lose I believe if you arent happy with how much you weigh then you can change it to make yourself happy. But if you cant lose weight no matter what you do then it’s best to just accept what god gave you. I believe green tea is good for your health have a cup a day.

You shouldn’t try to loose weight. If you are eating healthy and exercising now, this is as thin as you’ll be. If you get any thinner, you wont be able to maintain it and you’ll go back to what you are now.

If you really desperatly need to, you could go and see a local doctor about it.
