obsessive compulsive disorder!

ok well ill have to check the straightner or the oven to make sure its off but ill have to check it over and over and over agin and ill even ask my sis if its off just so she will tell me what does that mean and other things just little things to!

if your computer broke and you said you would punch yourself in the face untill it started workind again, then you have OCD :D

OCD is when you can’t help but do something. if you have it really bad some people go on medication. its when (for example) you can’t go thru a door without touching the left side, or cant go upstairs unless you go two at a time etc. its odd little things that you seriously just cannot help but do!

everyone does some sort of ritual, or has something that they do that someone with ocd may do. but because just because someone shuts a door twice, or refuses to the skip steps on stairs does not mean they have ocd. ocd comes with anxieties that happen such as panic attacks. If you are having panic attacks or you think you have ocd and your ‘rituals’ are getting in the way of living, then obviously see a doctor to get diagnosed. ocd like symptoms are REALLY common in teens and children and a lot of the time you will grow out of these things. I’m only 15, but I was diagnosed with ocd because I have an anxiety disorder and the ocd was something that I guess you can say came with it. but now I have to take medication for it and it sucks :/
