I've tried and tried to find them, i remember someone from NASA coming to my school, he said it does exist, maybe im looking in the wrong places? help!
There's NASA INSPIRE (Interdisciplinary National Science Project Incorporating Research and Education), but the application deadline has already passed. You can apply in the spring though, if you're still going to be in high school next year. It's designed to help students narrow down their fields of study into a STEM related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). While it isn't a job or anything, it is an online learning community (OLC. NASA=land of acronyms(: ) where other people your age with similar interests can contact NASA professionals at any time, and there are projects/'assignments' that you can do to sort of raise your standings.
By raising your standings in the community, you give yourself the chance to compete for a summer experience, like a VIP tour of the nearest NASA facility, a two week stay at a nearby space grant college, or paid internships.
You should be able to apply starting sometime between February and April, with the deadline typically being the end of June.
