Im impatient with my parents

I’’m an impatient girl. And I yell at my parents everytime they annoy me. They tell me to have discipline and be a good girl. I think I already am. And (please don’t think I’m bragging) I always get the highest score at school. and I think I’m better than my peers. And they yell at me at tiny mistakes like when I don’t place my clothes in the right place or when I don’t wash my dishes as soon as I’m finished. I”m so annoyed when they tell me what to do. But I love my parents. And I regret after I yell at them. But I can’t help it. I can’t help it because I think I shouldn’t be scolded or blamed because I think I’m a good, bright girl. The problem is that I regret for having yelled at them everytime. I love them. But I couldn’t help it .So what should I do? Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I dont think you should yell at your parents but I do (if what youa re saying about your grades etc) think that your parents need to chill out. My god if I yelled every time my daughter or son put their crap every where I would never get my voice back lol. Talk to them and tell them you need your own space to relax in and keep how you like it.

Your parents think this is what’s best. They think if they yell at you for every little thing, you will be their ‘perfect’ child. The bad news is, no matter how excellent your grades are or how clean your room is, no one is perfect. I think you calmly need to sit down with your parents and tell them how you feel pressured and stressed when they pick on you. Make sure that you talk to them when nothing else is going on, like a nice quiet day. You also need to think of other techniques other than yelling to get your point across. They think you are being a ‘bad girl’ and after you yell, you feel like a ‘bad girl’. Take a deep breath and try to compromise with them. You’ll stop yelling if they don’t make a huge fuss over dirty dishes.
