Why are my lymph nodes swollen?

I Think That what Theyre Called.. Theyre On the side of my Neck,Under My Jaw Bone? They Kind of Hurt,And Theyre Swollen Big Time. I have a doctors appointment Today around 2:30. because My Throat hurts also. But Does Anyone Know what they think I Have?

i dont wanna scare you but you could have lucemia or some type of blood cancer you need to get it checked out

your lymph nodes swell when ur sick. i dont remeber exactly but i did a project on it a few years ago. something about cleaning ur system and filling with stuff and they get swollen and w.e when ur sick. haha. idk but w.e. all in all swollen=sick … okays im done now… FEEL BETTER! :]

LYMPH NODES DRAW INFECTION AWAY FROM AN AREA CAUSING THEM TO SWELL. THE NEXT NODE IN LINE PULLS FROM THE FIRST NODE AND SO ON. DONT LET THIS GO TO LONG . SEE YOUR DOCTOR IT CAN BE STOPPED WITH AN ANTIBIOTIC… GOOD LUCK

You could just have a general infection or tonsillitis. If your doctor thinks you have glandular fever he/she will send you for a blood test, but your doctor is the best person to diagnose this.

do you do drugs, lymphnodes can swell when you are snorting too much drugs. you may want to cut back on the coke for a couple days. Start back with a couple bumps to see how it reacts. If everything is fine, break out some vegas lines and go to town
