My fish tank has a hard water stain how do I get rid of it?

I tried washing it but its thick and I tried washclothes and I dont want to scratch the glass. Or use anything toxic I have fish in there!

Answer #1

Vinegar in a spray bottle will cut thru it…it takes longer than a commercial hard water cleaner like CLR, but it’s non-toxic, so that’s the positive point…right?

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

You can go to the pet store and get a scraper for the aquarium. It usually has a long handle and a double-edge razor blade in it. It is ideal for scraping everything of the inside of Glass aquariums. The razor blade is held flat against the glass, so there isn’t any likely hood of scratching the glass. You use it while the water and fish are still in the tank.
