Is it normal for a dog to have lumps?

My small Jack Russel mix

From the age of 1 has had 3 lumps on her back, She is now 6 and the lumps are getting bigger,

You can press them and she does not seem to be in any pain…

Is this normal???

Answer #1

Vet’s office is my vote also. Has she been to a Vet before? Did they not comment on the lumps.

My Vet is always checking my dogs over the whole time I am in his office, rather we are in for a vaccination, or whatever.

Answer #2

it might be a cyst. you should go to a vet or something to get it checked out sometimes their harmful and sometimes their not so its hard to tell

Answer #3

It could be normal, or it could be a Life-Threatening Disease/illness.

As a precaution, I’d take your Dog to the Vet’s office as soon as possible.

It could be anything from a Cyst-Tumor I’d say. I wouldn’t risk the situation. As for a Tumor, it could be Malignant (Cancerous) or just a removable bit of tissue.

But the Faster you get your dog evaluated the better. :) It COULD become painful to the Animal, and stressful.

Sounds like tumors to me. I hope everythin works out with her :]
