Is it normal for dogs to have blue eyes?

Normally dogs have brown eyes or black ones. Is blue normal too? Or does it mean blindness?

It can happen — sometimes a the gene that makes eye color just gets confused and you get a different color — Something about recessive color gene comes to mind.

Color doesn’t indicate if the eye works or not. Cloudiness does though — that’s something different.

Enjoy your unique pit bull… (BTW – I’ve seen a LOT of pit bulls with that color)
