No. Memories dont destroy us. It’s what we choose to do with the memories. We choose to hold on.

No way. Memories not only allow us to function as a society, it allows us to know ways for basic survival. Memories also give us happienss, and allows us to have relationships with family friends, or romantic ones. They can cause unhappiness at times, but they are worth it.

True.. but sometimes some things you just can’t forget, dont wanna let go, even if it hurts deep inside.To let go isnt something that happens overnight.

I didnt proclaim to be good at letting go. Knowing what is the best course of action and doing it are two different things.

@ Angy, you can learn to move on from those memories. Yea you might not forget them, but you can move on and learn from them, making you a better person.

No, I treasure so many memories of my father there is no way in the world I would ever want to forget those. Not even just him, there are so many things I love to look back upon and not having memory would prevent that.
