litter train pup

I need to litter train my pup any ideas I keep putting it on paper but goes of and does it on carpet

Just keep doing the same menuver as amblessed said.

You might also want to move that to pets or request that It’d be done.

You can’t just put the pup on the paper and walk away…when it moves to get off the paper, put it back on and say “pee” or “go pee”…when it starts to move away from the paper, gently put it back on. Repeat…repeat…repeat, until it goes where you want it to. You can also rub the paper towel, or rag you used to clean up a prior mess, and rub it on the paper so the smell is there. The smell attracts them.

When the pup finally goes, love it up…like it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

Housetraining, no matter if it’s training to go outside, use litter, or paper train…is the MOST intensive training you will have to ever do…You have to watch the pup every MINUTE of the day…when you can’t watch it, put it in it’s crate. Don’t give it the run of the house…whatever room you are in, make sure that pup is in there with you.

Housetraining is a matter of TOTAL vigilence…there’s no way around it.
