When can I change my labret stud?

I was wondering I got my piercing on the 1st of this month when can I change the stud to a hoop ?

I have snakebites (two lip piercings) And it’s best to wait about two months before you wear a ring because rings move about in your lip so loads of germs can get on the ring and while the ring is turning in the lip more germs can get in the actual piercing hole. Do you know what I mean lol? So wait for a while. I took mylleft one out early, and put a ring in it. It got quiet infected… :/

your not supposed to take it out for up to 2 months,, it might heal on the outside but not on the inside and if you take it out too soon bacteria can get in there and infect it,,,I had to take mine out

genurally its about 6 8 weeks if you and your piercer thinks its healed go for it am having troble with my piercing ;( just when I thought it was healing bang an infection

I knew mine was healed when I could move it around without it hurting a lot. People heal at different paces. It might sting a tiny bit to change the first time though, its not to bad.
