Info on Ouija Boards

Well, my mum was involved in a seance once, and a girl she was in the group with went mad, saying she’d seen her mother die. And my friend tried a ouija board and said the glass shattered and ever since, she’s never felt quite alone xx

I have a story about ouiji board and the devil and stuff. I was playing with 1 of those things at my pals house and we where joking around with candels and all because we had noting better 2 do and then we jokingly said if there is a spirt in this room then make the candles go out we had the shades shut and the door fully close the vents where covered and after we said that then all of the 22 candles that we found around her house flikered and went out I sware we where out of that room in 3 seconds flat running down her hallway and outside by every1 else we never tried that again. we think it was a demons spirt or something like that so if I was you I would just let it be and hers what we did 2 get it 2 work we found 22 candles set them in a circle shu the shades turned off the lights stood in a circle and said come to the door that is now open we welcome you to the living world and if their is a spirt in here blow out the candles. dont try it I was afraid 2 sleep 4 days I slept with all of my lights on and my door wide open!

Thanks for that ichibanarky. Can’t you just say “this is my opinion” and leave it at that? Everyone is entitled to their own points of view, and you have no right telling people what to think. I wouldn’t mess with those things, you never know. For god’s sake I don’t need another person trying to force their opinion on me as fact! Sorry cassidyx - I’m just trying to say there’s 2 sides to every story and you shouldn’t scoff and something you don’t believe just because you don’t believe it - and I’m not having a go at you, that’s meant for the other person.

Think about it this way.

It’s a board, with letters, that comes with a device that highlights one letter at a time. That part is obvious.

Some people say that it works, some people say that it doesn’t. It all comes from someone’s personal experience with it.

I’ve never personally used one, though I do own one. The idea is, to have a completely open mind. No doubt that it won’t work, and see what happens.

A lot of it may stand on where your religious views are as well. If you believe that spirits may exist, etc.

There are several different variables on the ouija board.

Ichibanarky is right, it’s just a board mass-sold by a company for profit. It’s how you use that board that determines its purpose.

Ouija board is just a game sold by Parker Brothers…it’s just a game - there’s no significance to it and I don’t care what people say

If people think they honestly saw that piece move, they better stop and ask which of their friends was actually pushing the thing around to freak them out.

Again, it’s just a game…don’t believe in silliness
