I think my dad is going to try to kick me out again

Well honey, maybe you can talk to him about getting help for his drinking. Express your concern for his well being, and why you think it would benefit him and you that he does. And I’m afraid that all you can do with that is present it to him. He may listen, and he may not, but all you can do is try.

Oh dear…you made me cry a bit…but, I think that it would be best that you leave the house before it gets to that. Go to a friends house until he sleeps it off like you say. I really wouldnt want you to get hurt! And for your safety, I think that would be the best choice for now until you can figure something out long-term.

His drinking problem is NOT YOUR PROBLEM. You need to leave and stay somewhere safe until he quits or until you find a safe place to live. There is no excuse for him hitting you. You shouldn’t just take it or deal with it. You are a minor and it’s illegal for him to do this to you

he had quit before and things were so much better but he started all over agin .., it has gotten so bad some time I cant tell if he is drunk or not worse come to worse all he will do is hit me and I can deal with it ( it think) I mean I have before

I dont want my dad to go to jail I love him but some times he is difficult eh doesnt mean it when he hits me he is to drunk to rember half of the time . I am not worried about myself I am worried about him … I am afraid if he doesnt stop it is going to kill him

You should tell an adult you trust about what’s going on asap. Do you have a relative or family friend you can talk to? If not tell your school counselor. He can’t hit you and kick you out every time he’s drunk. It’s against the law and he can be taken to jail. Tell someone now.
