I need advice for a friend

my friend just told me something that happened when she was around 6 or 7. she told me that she had like a second family kind of in case something happened with her real one and she used to spend the night there and when she would be there this girl had a boyfriend and he would spend nights there and she told me he use to reach down her pants bc he thought she was sleeping and now I’m trying to get her to tell any adult but she doesn’t think any adult will believe her and that its a scary thing and that it was so long ago it doesn’t matter…sorry for it being long what should I do???

there is no wrong time or to long of a time not to bring this up you dont say how old she is now but if she is a minor there must be some adult that she can trust that she can talk to priest, rabbi, school counsler but this is something that was wrong and should not have happened but was not her fault

I told her I would be with her she still won’t and I’m about to open my mouth to my mother but she will be mad at me and we are like sisters and I don’t want to ruin it

you need to get her to tell a parent offer to be with her when she does it that might help her feel like someone is there for her and help to tell her parents easier if not you should tell him to save her from anything else happening like getting raped or pregnant or an std you should help her okay
