I let my daugh. go live with her dad when she was 10 years old. She was having a bad time here at my home because of my husband. Things were really ugly. It has been three years now and she told me she doesn’t want me to be a part of her life and that she is better off without me. I don’t know what to do. I really miss her.

maybe try talking to her more. and if you do visit her, do it away from your husband. she probably feels that you love your husband more than her and that probably hurts her really bad. explain that you love her, and maybe talk to your husband also. maybe hes the problem

well.. she is your daughter. I would never forgive my mum is her boyfriend/husband was giving me a hard time and she knew it and you chose to off load her to her father, rather then ditch the guy. kids are supposed to come before anything right? Same as if I was dating a guy and he was rude/ill treating to my mum I would drop him like a hot potatoe.

thats coming from a 16 year old. I’ve been thru this with my parents too.
