Does your throat hurt if you sing screamo?

does your throat ever hurt from singing scremo (I know stupid ?) but does it?

yes im a screamer myself and I just got done with a 4 hour straight practice and pretty much screamed for 3 hours in a row honey is a plus but dont count on it like many people say its about technique but take breaks preserve your voice cause you dont want to end up sounding like bam margera with a f-d up voice honey, rest, technique, and beeing boss is all you need hope it helped

if you do it constintly it does. I remember I almost tour a vocal cord after like 2 years. had to take some months off. it hurt so bad. pulled some musicle in my throught.

to some people it might, some it might not.

it also depends a lot on your screaming technique.

Of course it’ll get sore due to it being a form of singing, but if you get sore from the screaming sound itself, you’re doing it wrong.

no matter how you do it it will catch up to you. A voice teacher once told me that you have to control the sound and not slam your vox everytime you sing. But, like I said enough screaming will catch up to you at some point.

umm after awhile it does. but if you do it often your voice would get used to it and it wont be sore anymore :]
