Dear missvix44, Please check with your doctor…he can run you through a bunch of test to pin point your problem. There are things you can do for yourself such as what is stated here but a doctors visit is a must. There are natural ways we can strengthen our immune system. Some of these ways are listed here: Get plenty of sleep and rest, the body rejuvenates and strengthens when it is at rest. Many people like to think they can function just fine on 5 to 7 hours a night, but the truth is, we require at least 8 to 10 hours per night. Cut down worry and learn to de-stress, there are studies that prove that stress and depression effect the body physically and can even weaken the immune system. Eat a well balanced diet, don’t skip meals. The four food groups have everything our bodies need to thrive. Learn the vitamins in your food and get a good dose of each one. Always take a multivitamin, learn what your body is lacking. Ask your doctor what vitamins and minerals you should increase for your age. For example, women need extra calcium. We need extra folic acid as well. Have a regular exercise regimen. Exercise makes our body stronger, increase circulation of blood and nutrients, and helps flush the body of toxins. Drink plenty of water, this helps flush the body of toxins and keeps you well hydrated. Eat foods with high antioxidant levels. Antioxidants are vitamins in your diet that can reduce your risk of cancer and other diseases and can give your immune system a boost. Eat a diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables, which are excellent sources of antioxidants. Antioxidant vitamins include vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta carotine. Food sources include: fruits and vegetables, dairy products, melons, berries, dark greens, whole grains, dairy and meats (high protein). Sue…good luck

Do you mean like colds and stuff? if you sip lemon juice in hot water (can add honey to sweeten- but no sugar!) and chew on fresh sage leaves, you dont get colds and stuff. You could also put sage leaves in your lemon drink if you have a sore throat. Sage is very antiseptic and lemon kills loads of bugs- (even sperm BTW) If you are already sick- take a strong dose- remember that the idea is to continually wash your throat with the stuff so it kills the bacteria and viruses- so sip it slowly- dont just chuck it down your gullet.

I know because I had kids who got colds - I never caught them because I drank lemon and sage and they would only drink it once they’d actaually got a cold. As above- you need good amount of vitamins to help you resist ilnesses - so eat more heartily at this time of year. Echinacea (from whoefood shops and online)is known to boost the immune system if taken regularly.

i dont know what condition your body is in, but if you are too thin, then your health will suffer. if you are overweight because your diet is high in fat and low in vitamins and minerals, then your health will suffer. i recommend a very balanced diet high in fiber. exercise regularly and drink 8 eight oz glasses of water a day. everyday stresses can add to poor health, such as problems with school, friends, and family. know that you can not hold the weight of the world on your shoulders. if you are sexually active, you may want to get a check up and an HIV test. dont be embarrassed by the testing, be smart by getting tested. best of luck!!
