I have tried to walk from one room to another room without looking at the pup and closing the door

I dont think you can, unless you lock them somewhere. Why would it matter?

LOL…well, sorry…but that’s what puppies do. If you had a pup who wouldn’t follow you from room to room, then you’d have dog that later could be a real problem. She’ll get more independent as she grows…
