My puppies will be three weeks in about 2 days and there mother will no longer feed them, Im guessing because they're beginning to get teeth. Im going to try giving them puppy chow with a little water but I need to know how soft should I make the food. Should it be complete mush or a little crunchy?
Well first off you do not have to really add water to the puppy food. Most people however do add water to it. You will need to take a cup of puppy food in a regular dish then add the water to it. If you do it this way you know you have enough water in it becuase the water goes around the kibbles of the puppy food.
Add enough water so that it's like oatmeal...just cover it, and let it sit until the water is absorbed.
