How much weight will I lose?

Im 14 years old and I just started running a mile everyday lol like 2 days ago. I know a mile actually isnt a lot but I was wondering if it is for a begginer like me and how much weight I will lose. also I know that after a running a mile everday for a month that ull start wanting to run farther so im not really worried about that kind of stuff now I just want to get in shape. oh and im not the kind of girl who wants to be super skinny just in my personal bet shape. im 5’4” and 140lbs ugh :(

First thing you need to know is that 1 pound = 3500 calories.

So figure out how many calories you are expending by the exercise you are doing. Then divide that into the 3500 calories.

For example. Let’s say you burn 500 calories running… it would take you 7 days (3500/500) to lose one pound assuming you did nothing else differently (like changing your diet or adding more exercise).
