How much % of fat do you have to intake in order to gain a pound?

Whether it be anything from junk food, to just whatever! I know 3500cals is 1 pound, but how much % of fat is it for one pound?

Answer #1

It matters your height, weight, muscle, bone density, water weight. There are a lot of things that play into body fat %.

Answer #2

Gaining weight has nothing to do with how much fat you eat. Likewise, it has nothing to do with your height, weight, bone density, or water weight. It has to do whether you are eating more calories than you burning off. It takes about 3500 extra calories to gain one pound. (Or 3500 fewer calories to lost one pound). The percentage of fat makes no difference. If you eat 3500 extra calories that comes entirely from carrots, you will gain a pound.
