How do I stop beating my self for a decision I made a year ago?

About a year ago my girl got caught and her parents sent her away for a year she made contact with about two weeks a go and now she is saying that she dont want to even see me for a while after she gets out after I waited for her all year

I’m sure she wants to see you, but she probably wants to make sure her parents are going to let her and that they are going to trust her. Just give her a chance. Sounds like she does want to be with you to me though. If you think you just need closure then just tell her you need to talk and that is it to figure everything out.

I got caught having sex with her by her older brother and she says she misses me but that she cant see me till she talks to her parents and its driving me crazy cause we dated for a year and a half before that happen and I think im in love with her but im not sure and I guess all I do need its clousure

Got caught doin what and wood be helpful made she misses you but it puts her in pain 2 see you I don’t know that’s what it was like for me last summer
