How do I start telling people I'm bi?

Well I’v been bi for about a year and I dont know how to tell my friends family and parents?..so could somebody please help me…

Answer #1

I have a friend who is bi and he judt came right out and told me so you should tell your close friends first but I not sure about your parents though ( I can’t talk to mine so what would I know) well good luck

Answer #2

carefully… people are touchy about this subject, and honestly if your parents are still supporting u, and you think they’ll take it badly, you may want to wait…

Answer #3

Just tell them. If they’re your true friends, they’ll love you anyway. You parents may not like it, but they’ll probably learn to accept it. I mean, you are their child. :)

Answer #4

I agree with angel14215, I have a friend who’s gay and he told his family about his sexual orientation, they didn’t take it well. Almost disowned him. But I think they learned to accept the fact, and stopped “hating” him. It was tough for him and I’m sure it’s also tough for you. But if I were you, I’d tell my friends first, see what they say about you telling yur parents because it’s also like they are in the same position except telling yur parents would be tougher. I’m not sure if I helped or made any sense. but I hope everything works out:) good luck!
