How do I connect to the internet on my new Laptop-It has Windows 7?

On Xmas, My Mum and dad surprised me by gettin me a new laptop, it has Windows 7 on it, I can type up stuff on Microsoft Word and that but I can’t connect to the internet, I am writing this from my family dell computer which is old so my mum and dad bought me a laptop. My Dad bought a disk to go in it AOL 9.5 (THE UPDATED ONE) and we’ve tried and tried but it keeps -un-in-stalling it instead installing it, any help? please, I need my laptop to work (and I got a wireless adapter-still won’t work!)

when you see two computers with an x on it right down corner press right click and connect to a network which ever one has the strongest signal with the green bars choose it and if it has password type it in and it should be about 5 or 13 characters so their you go was that explainable?.

dont use wireless yet..

just connect the ethernet cable from teh router straight to your lappy

win7 should install the drivers its self

after that: install your aol drivers and you should be up and running with the com…

now do teh wireless thing

Start-Control panel-Network and internet-Network and Sharing center,
Set up a new connection or network,
Enter the username and password provided by your Internet service provider,

              You are done and connected to Internet
```
