How did I gain weight while exercising?

So before I started exercising I weighed myself and I was 112 then I worked out then weighed myself again and I was 115 then worked out again then after I was done and weighed myself for the last time and I was 117. How did I gain weight while exercising??? Water weight??

Answer #1

you gained muscle

Answer #2

no, muscle but I don’t know but I know muscle weighs more than fat :)

Answer #3

It couldn’t have been as quick as it sounds. It sounds like you worked out for a little while, then got on the scale, and weight was magically gained. Get a new scale.

Answer #4

its muscle when you exerscise for a while you start to build muscle and muscles weight more than fat so while you loose fat you can gain weight by adding muscle it would only be water weight if youve drank a few litres of water though and havent let it out yet (went to the toilet)
