How common is a 30-day cycle?

For the past year I have always had a 29 day cycle, it’s always been perfectly bang on time. However, today is day 30 of my cycle and my period is still a no show, doesn’t even feel like I’m about to come on and usually I can tell, almost up to the hour! Me and my fiancé have been having unprotected sex for about 5 months, This morning I took a HPT and it was negative. I’m planning on waiting for my period to arrive for about a week and if it’s still not here then I’ll do another test.

My question is,

Has this ever happend to you or anyone you know who has later found out they actually are pregnant despite the first test being negative?

and/or

How many tests did it take you to get a positive?

It is possible for a HPT to be negative. If you are really worried about it, go see a dr and have them do a blood test. If y’all have been having unprotected sex then it is possible for you to be pregnant. HPT’s are not always accurate. Make sure you are taking it first thing in the morning, the first time you go to the bathroom. The hormone is the strongest then and most easily detected by the test.
