How can one be born again?

simple - ask god into your heart and love and trust him and ask for forgiveness. Then you r born again and its the best thing ever. Gods awesome!!! Say that special prayer!!

being born again means a sprititual matter of a new spirit. Meaning you accepted jesus as savior. ask jesus into your heart and ask him to save you and believe in him and you will be saved automatically once and forever is waht the bible is teaching us. Go to a baptist missionary church and talk to a preacher for help about understanding the bible, they know.

I disagree with religionisgood. Being born again has everything to do with Jesus Christ. However, we probably have conflicting religions.

God knows man’s incompetence for following the rules, so he made it easy. Believe that God’s perfect son, Jesus Christ, was crucified on the cross, died with the sins of the world on him, and rose again… defeating death and sin, then you are saved. This is the religion I am certain is true. others may tell you various things, and ultimately it is your decision, but as for me, I have seen how my life differs than those around me who do not believe in God. It’s hard for me to describe. I never had a definite date that I became a christian, but I know that God has gotten me through some hard times. Why else do people turn to religion when bad things happen? It is not a visual thing. A lot relies on faith, but I do agree you should contact a church or some friends who can help you. You are just going to keep on being ridiculed here.

It never ceases to amaze me how little Christians know about the history of their own religion.

Being born again, according to the Gnostic Gospels, meant giving up interest in success in the physical world and striving for spiritual enlightenment and awareness of a higher truth. It had nothing to do with accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as atonement for sins.
