How can I get my parents to let me dye my hair?

I’ve asked and asked I just wanted to do like a blood redish color? is that to harsh? I need a way to convince them? they wont agree with any thing I’ve said so far. Any advice I really need some help on this. My hair is apparently really pretty but I want to display my individuality. HELP?

Tell them if they dont let you express yourself through your hair than you will find other ways to express yourself this comment will have make them question other ways you can express yourself and this means they will have to open their mind up; which is what you want, an open minded parent, especially when it comes to the color of your hair. Also present the fact that this is the only time in you life you can walk around with purple or, in your case, blood red hair and you wont be discriminated against, society expects teens to do strange things with their appearance, many of us have. they dont accept this kind of behavior when you are twenty five. Also my advice to you personally is dont dye the whole thing have it streaked by a professional stylist, and if you dont have red undertones dont expect the the bright blood red to last for more than a few weeks, it will fade and the fading may not be something you will be happy with

That’s a pretty strong color, I can understand why your parents wouldn’t approve.

Use a color that looks good with your skin and eyes, and maybe get colored streaks.

Just don’t go overboard. :/
