how can I forget my ex?

two years ago I start to go out with a guy from work. Evrything was good until my ex (Jose) came to my work and start to work there. My boyfriend was so jelouse and we were fighting a lot everyday. o any day we had a gib fight and then he start to go out with another girl. we were with him 4 mounth but these 4 mounth were for me the hapiness in life.now he is going out with that girk for a year and half and I still cant forget him.also he is always jelouse when somebody is talking to me or something he is also checking my cell phone always. we are good friends now but my love to him is killing me. also now he left to another city to study for 3 years and I dont know what to do.
