How do I fix my hair when my roots are lighter than the rest?

So. I colored my hair blonde after it was a medium brown. My hair was grown out about 2 inches so my natural color soaked up all of the blonde and the rest of it…not so much. So now the top of my head is the perfect color blonde and the rest is a darker color of blonde. How do I fix this?

buy the hair color you dyed your hair with and die your roots only…there is also other stuff to get just for roots…this will always happen…you should have known that before you color your hair…your hiar that grows is going to come back as your natural hair color so you are always going to have to touch up the roots.

The only way to fix it is to lighten the rest of your hair, but not the roots - a tricky job … best consult a professional.
