having tonsils/adenoid removed..need advice.

okay im having my tonsils and adnoids removed and my sinus passages shrunk a bit.I can handle some types of pain well and I did fairly well after having my wisdom teeth removed but im not shure on this one and im scared a bit because I have a fear of anestesia.

if youve had this surgery or procedure before, answer these.

what kind of pain can I expect the first two weeks after the surgery? will I be able to speak afterwards? what was the easiest thing for you to eat while you were healing? is it normal for a little bleeding to occur during recovery? what foods/drinks should I avoid?

um I’ve had my tonsils removed , don’t worry I’m scared of surgery also getting you tonsils taken out is fun and also help you lose some weigh ha ha ha becuase all you can eat is like jello and cold soft things for like two- three weeks and you can only dring clear soda so you can check for bleeding or whatever so yea but you’ll be fine it just feels like a sore throat which isn’t so bad , I suggest you stalk up on tylenol and sleep a lot after wards :_
