How hard is it to get into a habit of writing every day - you know, like in a journal or diary?

Answer #1

Well I’ve been trying it by keeping a private blog and I’ve found it easy to write but hard to keep up. If you commit yourself to it though you should be fine =].

Answer #2

idk i keep a journal and sometimes i bring it out..something i wont write because i relaiz i wont wanna rember it

Answer #3

It can be hard if you’re not dedicated. Journals are such a great way to get things off your chest, though. I’m sure the more you start to write in one, the easier it will be to get into the habit! Maybe write yourself a little note on your door that says “write in journal today!” or something, to remind yourself.

Answer #4

Iv’e tried a few times to keep a journal because i’m the type of person to over-analyze my life/feelings, I mean look deeper into myself than most teens i guess you would say. So i thought it would be a good thing for me to start doing and also it could help me remember how i was like when i was a teen so when i had kids i could try to understand it more from their point of view again. but every single time i kept forgetting to write in it and i would say to myself “oh i’ll do it tomorrow” and i’d keep saying that till a month had past. What worked for me is i just write poems/songs, but that’s just me. :) every person is different, it could quite possibly be a really good thing for you! :D Hope I helped! ^_^

Answer #5

tell yyyour husband or your kids, to hide it somewhere….

Answer #6

If you love to write it can be very easy for me it is iv gone through 8 journals already. But you can start by doing one page at night sometimes writing is way better than talking. Just start out easy don’t try to write this long page then you will want to stop. You can keep your journal by you bed to remind you to write or in your car, purse or carry it everywhere with you. In my case i carry mine everywhere but It’s not hard if your hearts in it you love it.

Answer #7

I’ve been writting daily for over 20 years. Once you get into the habit it is very easy to keep up.

Answer #8

It takes 2 weeks to establish a routine for pretty much anything. If you can make yourself find time for that long, you will find yourself automatically making time and it will be easier and easier.
