Does green tea help your skin?

Does green tea help your skin? If it does which kind and how much do you drink?

Answer #1

Yup, It can help act as a natural sunscreen, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and antioxidize your skin.

From what I read, you don’t drink the tea to get the benefits.

For a green tea facemask to remove toxins from your skin,

Mix three tablespoons of mayonnaise with one heaped teaspoon of organic Himalayan green tea leaves. Apply evenly to the face, avoiding the delicate eye area, and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse the mask off, then dry and moisturize your face.

Answer #2

Yeah, it’s supposed to, but you’d have to buy products with green tea extract. Drinking it won’t help your skin, but supposidly, it cuts your risk of heart disease and revs up your metabolism.
