I have acne and its my dry skin that prevents help.

ok, I’ve tried almost every concievable acne treatment, clenser, toner, and moisterizers out there. combonations, acne systems, liquid saops, you name it, I’ve probaly tried it. and probaly the main thing holding me back is my dry skin, when I so something to treat my acne, (even if its an acne treatment moisterizer) my skin dries out, so I stop for like one day and I break out terribly. its either that or it doesnt work at all or fast. im at ends meet. I need some sort of routine that will treat my acne and keep it from coming back, but will also not dry my skin out. HELP!!

Try drinking a lot of water. Drinking a lot of water keeps your skin hydrated and usually helps with acne. As your skin begins to stay hydrated try one of the acne treatments and follow up with a moisturizer.

It may also not be a bad thing to try and use acne ointments while you’re in the shower, because the hot water opens your pores.

I had acne all over my cheeks, and what I did everyday is wash your face with facial wash and warm water, then put moisturizing cream on your face. Also you can get a mask once a week. It helped me.

okay.. I have a similar problem. You should order Pro Active.. its kinda expensive but it works.. the cleanser and stuff doesnt work for me but it does for my sister. Heres what I do.. I orderd Murad (its a cleanser & stuff), it works really good. I use that cleanser in the mornings when I take a shower and then use the treatment gel that comes with it. at night I use the “Pro Active” refining mask.(it comes with the Pro Active Cleanser, but there is a new thing called green tea moisturizer so I dont know if you can still get it but probably) anyhow, it has improved my skin soo much. When my skin starts to dry out from the Murad Cleanser, I start to use it every 2 days and it should get better, or you can just use moisturizers or lotions on your face in the morning before you put your make-up on. I Hope This Helps, It Helped For Me. this routine takes about a week before you start to see improvements. GOOD LUCK!
