Gallbladder/Anemia???

So, since Sunday night, I’ve been sick & in bed. I am feeling nausea, jaundice (in the eyes), dizziness, weak, headaches, & severe upper adominal pains. I went to the doctor Wednesday, I had my blood drawn & given 2000 mg I’ve (which didn’t help) I had an ultrasound done on Thursday & seen that my gallbladder was a bit hazy/cloudy. My blood results showed very high bilirubin levels & somewhat low red blood cells (not low enough to diagnosis me with anemia). About a year ago, I was having the same extreme adominal pains & had a ultrasound done, again it was my gallbladder…hazy/cloudy. I just figured what I was experiencing was “gas bubbles.” About three years ago, I was diagnosised with anemia, because of my iron levels. I had a blood transfusion receiving 2 pints of blood. I am 20 years old. 115lbs. 5’3. I work out & eat pretty much for the most part healthy (I have my days). I am going to see a hemotologist on Tuesday. I don’t know whats going on & neither does my primary doctor. He is hoping the hemotologist can figure something out. If you know anything about this… please help!

I have been hospitalized a few times in the last couple of years due to uncontrollable vomiting and stomach pain. Every time, it has lead back to gallbladder sludge. I do not have stones but sludge and with sludge alone they will not remove the gallbladder. The doctors have told me it feels the same as stones and the pain can come and go.

I recently had a baby four months ago and started having nose bleeds every single day. Obviously my iron was low and I started taking iron pills with my regular vitamins. About a month ago I started feeling weak, shortness of breath, seeing black spots where I almost pass out, being off balance, and having no energy. I went to the doctor and had a blood test done showing I was anemic and having little to no iron stores. I am super close to a blood transfusion myself right now but I am doing everything I can to build up my iron stores to prevent that.

I am 24 and in really good shape myself. My weight pretty much stays between 115 and 120 and I am 5’3. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday to have an IUD put in to help lighten my menstrual cycle because my body isn’t doing well this cycle. It is doctor recommended. I will hopefully know more by then and be able to give you more feedback. I guess I am looking for answers myself and any help with your feedback is appreciated as well.

I have the same thing. It could be “stones” in the gallbladder. They are similar to kidney stones and hurt like hell. Most likely they will pass on their own if not you may need surgery. It isn’t fun and hurts for a very long time and extreme pain. I hope this helped.
